I saw Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros on Thursday. Best concert I've ever been to- hands down.

Haim opened up for them and if you've never heard of Haim check them out! They're amazing.

An e-mail my mother sent me

"Hello my girl,

Look at this message. Do you realize you are like a precious metal being refined? God is with you every step of the way. Take your time and do things right. You are not alone.

My mother is one amazing woman. I love her so much and I can't wait to see her this weekend.

I'm exhausted and overwhelmed with school at the moment and her e-mail made my day (she sent me this story about the silver smith and the refining process and how it parallels the love Christ has for us and how He hopes to one day see Himself in our image as we strive to be like Him). I have two 5 page papers to write by tomorrow at 3pm. Am I motivated? Not at all. I'm exhausted from studying all last week for midterms. But I know I can do this. I have to.

It's crunch time.
